- 2 Bitter melons
- 1 medium chilli, sliced
- Sliced fresh ginger
- 2 gloves of garlic sliced
- 1 onion, finely sliced
Firstly slice your bitter melon and set aside somewhere where it can drain and sprinkle with salt. This leeches the bitter juices. You can wring out the excess with your hands. Wash the salt off and dry with paper towel.
In a sauté pan heat a little bit of cooking oil and brown the slices of melon. Add the onion, chilli, ginger and garlic.
Stir fry until all ingredients are tender.
It just so happens that bitter melon is very good for your blood, I don’t know the details though I’m afraid.
