- 3-4 pork scotch fillet steaks
- 2 tablespoons rice bran oil
- 2 tablespoons Kecap Manis (Indonesian sweet soy sauce)
To make your marinade mix the rice bran oil and the kecap manis in a mixing bowl. Mix them together well before placing your steaks in the bowl. Turn them over to ensure they are covered in the marinade. Leave them for about an hour at room temperature if you can or they can be left longer if you keep them refrigerated. You can of course only give them a few minutes to absorb the flavours but they just won’t be as strong.
Turn your BBQ on to high and when it is very hot cook each steak for about 5 minutes a side.
Take them off and cover them with foil and allow to rest for about 5 minutes before serving them.
